The mission is built around SUMMITS’27 – International Intelligent Transportation Systems Summit, taking place in Ankara on 13–15 April 2027, and combines the event with targeted B2B meetings, company visits, market guidance and networking.
Türkiye is investing in smart cities, transport infrastructure, digitalisation and sustainable mobility. With a population of over 86 million, major infrastructure projects and a new National Smart Cities Strategy 2030, the country offers significant opportunities for innovative transport technologies and services.
ITS Finland, ITL Estonia and Linköping Science Park are bringing together Nordic and Baltic SMEs for a joint business mission to Ankara as part of the EU-funded JASMEX project.
The aim is simple: connect Nordic and Baltic smart mobility solution providers with relevant Turkish partners, customers and decision-makers, and turn market interest into concrete business opportunities.
What does the Business Mission include?
Rather than focusing only on attending an international conference, the mission is designed to help participating companies establish valuable contacts, understand local market needs and identify concrete business opportunities.
The preliminary programme includes:
- Curated B2B meetings with potential Turkish customers and business partners
- Visits to local companies and organisations
- Market briefings and practical market-entry guidance
- Participation in SUMMITS’27 conference sessions and exhibition
- Networking with Turkish industry stakeholders and mobility experts
SUMMITS’27 – International Intelligent Transportation Systems Summit
A central part of the business mission is SUMMITS’27, taking place in Ankara on 13–15 April 2027.
Venue: Tunçalp Özgen Congress and Cultural Center, Hacettepe University, Ankara, Türkiye.
The three-day event brings together the Turkish intelligent transportation ecosystem, including public authorities, companies, technology providers and international experts.

January–March 2027 | Buyer and Partner Mapping
Identification of potential Turkish customers, business partners and relevant market opportunities.
March 2027 | Preparatory Workshop and Training
A workshop and information webinar to help participating companies prepare for the Turkish market.
Before the Mission | Market-Entry Consultation
Individual consultation sessions offering practical guidance on market entry and business development.

Nordic-Baltic Business Mission, including participation in SUMMITS’27, B2B meetings and networking activities.
Financial support for participating SMEs
Eligible SMEs may receive financial support towards selected costs related to the Türkiye Business Mission through the JASMEX project.
Support may be available for eligible mission-related expenses, subject to project rules and available budget.
