
ITS Finland invites members and partners to join a two‑day study visit to Oslo, Norway, on 25–26 February 2026.
The visit provides first‑hand insights into Norway’s leading smart mobility, automation, and electrification solutions.
Participants will meet key operators, technology providers, and city authorities shaping the future of intelligent transport.
The programme includes site visits, demonstrations, and expert sessions on automated transport, logistics robotics, geofencing, national transport planning, and Oslo’s pioneering electrification strategy.
Round‑trip travel is organised from Helsinki, Finland.
Each organisation pays for its own flights and hotel accommodation. In addition, ITS Finland charges €300 per participant for the trip, which covers transportation at the destination and lunch and dinner on both days.

Day 1 – Wednesday, February 25

- On-demand services integrated into Ruter’s offering
- Carpooling integrated into Ruter’s offering
- Automated tram services (depot tour and service trial)
Meeting point: Oslo City Centre. Service showcase in and around the tram depot.
13:00–14:00 Lunch break
14:00–17:00 Innovation and automation sessions:
- Lion cage Project – Opportunities and considerations of Chinese autonomous vehicles
- Holo – Logistics robots in the city
- Adastec – Autonomous bus operations in Stavanger, Gothenburg, and other cities
Day 2 – Thursday, February 26
09:00–12:00 Oslo city visit – Electrification today and tomorrow. Visit to selected sites in the city.
