Tarjolla hieno mahdollisuus suomalaisille liikennealan startupeille osallistua ESACin (The European Super Angels Club) järjestämään startup -kisaan. Tänä vuonna fokus on älykkäässä liikenteessä ja liikkumisessa. Pohjoismaiden alueen 3.9. järjestettävään pitchaustilaisuuteen valitaan 5 – 6 parasta startupia. The European Super Angels Club (ESAC), a joint initiative of Venionaire Capital and KPMG Austria, is organising the 7th edition of its exclusive startup award series, ‘Invest and Connect’. This year they focus on smart mobility and looking for relevant startups in the areas of shared-economy, traffic reducing measures, wireless communications, real-time data analytics and machine learning used in autonomous vehicles, solutions related to parking and traffic signals, various sensors used in transportation, logistics, connected vehicles and related marketplaces.

The series kicked off beginning of June with the online French national qualifier and the next stop is the Nordic online regional event where 5-6 startups will have the chance to pitch at the private event in front of an international jury board. The regional winner will qualify to the European Finals scheduled for 3rd December in Berlin. Other countries where local event are planned are: Switzerland, Spain, UK and Italy with wild card winners from Austria and Germany.

ESAC follows the mission of collaboration between European investors (business angels, high-net-worth individuals, family offices, corporates venture capital units and venture funds), leading corporates and startups. Members combine their individual financial strength, network and know-how to invest in high-growth European startups. Typical rounds range from €1-10m. ESAC to-date has invested in companies worth more than €70 million, of which a significant increase of more than €20 million. The club syndicates investment in a dedicated fund, managed by Venionaire Ventures Sárl based in Luxemburg.
